Hallo Ihr Lieben,
heute startet wieder eine neue Challenge auf dem Everybody-Art-Challenge Blog. Diese Woche möchten wir gerne eure Werke zum Thema *Paper Bag, also Papiertüte* sehen.
Ich möchte euch gerne ein ganz besonderes Projekt von mir zeigen ... es ist ein Paper Bag Album, das ich für ein liebes Wichtelkind gemacht habe. Es ist aus vielen verschiedenen Materialien entstanden, die mir das Wichtelkind zur Verfügung gestellt hat. Das waren u.a. ein weißes Muffinförmchen, Goldpapiere, Schokiverpackungen in verschiedenen Ausführungen, Umverpackungen von Kaffe und Tee, Buchseiten, Fahrkarten, Tickets, Schleifenband in türkis und Schleifenband von einem Duft, Umverpackung vom Bäcker, Katzencharm, Kork, Scrap Flyer, Marienkäferpapier, Garn Banderolen, Kaffeedeckchen, Kronkorken, Sprüche sowie Texte und natürlich viele viele Bilder, die nun darauf warteten verscrappt zu werden!
OMG, was für eine Herausforderung für mich, denn nun saß ich da mit all den Materialien und mir rauchte der Kopf, da ich so etwas noch nie gemacht habe! Nach langer Überlegung habe ich mich entschlossen ein Paper Bag Album zu machen, weil man darin so viele Verstecke und Ecken hat, wo man viel Zubehör oder Tags unterbringen kann. Die Idee war nun da, fehlte nur noch die Umsetzung ... mit der ich mich anfänglich ganz schön schwer getan habe.
Als erstes suchte ich mir die Papiere aus, die ich für das komplette Album verwenden wollte. Danach habe ich dann alles was irgendwie zusammen passte auf verschiedene Stapel gelegt um nachher auch sicher gehen zu können, dass alles zu einem Thema passt. So entstanden zu den Themen Klartext, Yummy, Fun, Look, Dream, Cat und Hobby zwischen zwei bis fünf Seiten, die man hier und da zusätzlich aufklappen kann. Ich habe u.a. viel geprägt, gestanzt, gestempelt, mit Distess gewischt und natürlich viel genäht! Coloriert habe ich eigentlich nur den yummy Muffin und das Schlossfenster, alles andere war reines scrappen.

I would like to show you a special project of me ... it´s a paper bag album I made for a dear friend. And it´s the result of many different materials, which I got from my friend before. Among them were a white muffin cup, several chocolate packaging, packaging of coffee and tea, book pages, tickets, packaging of bakery, ribbon in turquoise and ribbon from a perfume, cat charm, some cork, scrap flyers, ladybug paper, yarn labels, doily lace, bottle caps, sayings and of course a lot of pictures, which are ready to be made into something!
I thought, OMG this is really a great challenge for me!! So I was sitting there with all the materials and my head was spinning, because I´ve never done something like that! After long consideration I`ve decided to make a paper bag album, because this kind of album has so many hiding places and corners, where you can put a lot of accessories and tags.
Now I already come up with the idea, but what I still misssed was the implementation and I can tell you, I had a hard time at the beginning with this work! First, I selected the papers I wanted to use for the complete album. After that, I put everything what fits together on different stacks, so I´m go for sure that everything fits on a topic. In this way I`ve made between two to five pages, which you also can open here and there to the themes, Plain Text, Yummy, Fun, Look, Dream, Cat and Hobby. I have embossed, punched, stamped, brushed with Distess and sewed a lot! I only colored the yummy muffin and the castle window, everything else was pure scrapping.
